Nia from Gurren Lagann.
I'm not sure what to think of her. She's cute and I like the design, but on the other hand I kind of diss her for being such a typical flawless heroine.
For some reason I've had an urge to draw her. I like to try portraying bizarre characters in a more realistic style... the hair was a lot of work to say the least.
I'm glad I tried though! I might've learnt a thing or two while doing this.

Photoshop 7.

Hahaha. I felt the same way about Nia.. She was so cute, but at the same time so boring with her flawlessness.

I am loving the way this looks. You did such a good job of capturing her essence, even though you used a more realistic style. This coloring is gorgeous. I love it.

Wow this is really pretty~
I love the shading and her hair and her face and... everything ;w;

I decided that I like Nia only because she's cute and I'm a sucker for cute >w<;;

I love how you color! I always wondered, what kind of brush do you use to get that kind of effect?

Thanks! Just the regular round pencil with pen pressure adjusting the opacity.

So spending some money on a pressure sensing pen and tablet would be smart?

Great colouring all the way. I like her expression as well.

Coolio! Love the crazy hippie flower eyes of bright but well used colors. Your use of shading is gorgeaous too. Excellent work(as always).
